A high-level delegation from Indonesia recently visited Vernadsky University. The delegation was led by Mr. Nanang Syaiful Fadillah, the Acting Attaché for Education and Culture and the Plenipotentiary Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia. Among its members was Mr. Widya Priyahita Pudjibudojo, the Rector of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta, along with prominent leaders from universities and educational boards across Indonesia.

Russian-Indonesian relations have recently ascended to a new level of productive collaboration. Vernadsky University is committed to advancing state objectives by enhancing public diplomacy with its international allies.

During the visit, significant agreements were made regarding academic exchanges for students and faculty, joint scientific projects focusing on the development of rural areas and small towns, and collaborative research on climate and environmental sustainability.
