Vernadsky University to Launch Russian as a Foreign Language Program

Vernadsky University is introducing a new educational program, Russian as a Foreign Language, to meet the growing demand in the international education market.

Early next year, the University will welcome its first students from Sri Lanka, who will study Russian through a newly developed preparatory program. Upon completing this program, students will have the opportunity to enroll in Vernadsky University’s degree programs and pursue higher education in Russian.

The details of this collaboration were discussed during a meeting at Vernadsky University with Mr. Vimashan Vimalagunasekara, Director of the company «Multidimensional Aspirations for Students».

The discussion covered various aspects of the partnership, including educational programs of interest to students from Sri Lanka, admission requirements, living arrangements and other key topics.
