Research

Scientists at the university engage in research across agriculture, economics, and public administration. The Department of Hunting and Bioecology features a specialized laboratory dedicated to analytical ecological monitoring. Here, researchers investigate the impact of technogenic pollution, particularly focusing on how heavy metals affect living organisms, using bees as test subjects.

The university has also established a «Scientific Center for the Study of Rural Areas». Vernadsky University frequently hosts events of national significance and collaborates extensively with research institutes and the business community. A recent example is the forum on rural development held in Moscow, where a competition for youth scientific and innovative projects was launched.

Additionally, a scientific and educational consortium called «Sustainable Development of Rural Areas» has been formed, involving leading universities and research institutes across the country.
