The Vernadsky Russian State University of National Economy (Vernadsky University) was established in 1930 as the Fur Institute, originally dedicated to training specialists for the wildlife management and hunting industry. Over its 93-year history, it has evolved into a specialized university that educates highly qualified managers for Russia and neighboring countries.
